If someone came to you, and said they would give you one million dollars if you gave them everything you had, would you do it? That would probably be a really quick “yes!” 

In this parable, Jesus says this is similar to what the Kingdom of God is like. The life of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control that can be had through Jesus is worth giving up everything for! 

Following Jesus may cost you popularity, comfort, friendships, watching certain shows, listening to certain music, telling those jokes, time, or money but Jesus is worth it. 

Jesus gave his very life to have a relationship with you. What cost are you willing to pay to follow him?
