INChurch Cornelius Fast 2020Sample

Day 8 – Out of the comfort zone
Reflect
Peter entered Cornelius's home and was met with a show of great respect as Cornelius fell at his feet. Can you imagine all the thoughts and emotions swirling in Peter's head that day? He had experienced a vision that seemed to contradict everything he knew, walked and talked with Gentiles for the past two days and now entered the home of a Gentile with a house full of people. "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile …", he said, but there he was, doing all of the above.
Respond
Lord, help me to be willing to step out of my comfort zone, particularly when it comes to sharing the good news of Jesus and what He has done for me. Help me to be willing to share my faith in you, even in some of the most unlikely situations.
