How to Love by FaithSample

Five Principles of God's Love
Principle 5: We love by faith.
All things in the Christian life are based on faith. Just as we receive Christ in to our life through faith we also live daily by faith.
Faith is agreeing with and depending on faith in God's Word.
In order to love by faith, we must be filled with the Holy Spirit . When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, love will be a growing characteristic of your life. It is the natural result or fruit of being filled with God's Spirit.
Loving by faith is based on three principles from God's Word.
- We are commanded to love.
- God promises to answer when we pray according to His will.
- We claim God's love as an act of our will, believing He will answer.
Loving by faith is a growth process. We don't ever become perfect in our Christian life; neither are we capable of perfect love. But God causes growth as we abide in Christ and walk consistently in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Loving by faith causes us to reach out to others. This certainly means actively loving other Christians. It also means taking the initiative to reach out to non-Christians by witnessing. Here's a starter kit how to share your faith.
