YOU HAVE GOD'S ANOINTING, SO PRAY

PRAY:  Oh Lord, I want to end my week with excitement, looking forward to embracing the anointing that You have given me as a child of Yours. You have already given me truth, I just need to understand it and live it out every moment of every day. Help me to pray, intercede, and thank You for all people - for kings and all those in authority, for friends and family members, and even for my neighbors and strangers. Let me live a peaceful and quiet life, in all godliness and holiness, for You say "this is good"! I want to please You God, my Savior, and I want to have Your heart that desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. I praise You for this new commitment and embrace all that You have for me. Amen

REFLECT:  Have you thought about actually having an anointing from God? Have you fully embraced the fact that God has already given you His truth? Did you realize that in order to live out God's truth in our lives, it all starts with prayer?! God wants us to pray for others, intercede, and thank Him for them, along with praying for kings, leaders, friends, family members, and strangers. We need to take time to be quiet and pray, so that God can use us in His plan to bring all people to Him. Prayer is the key to living out a Christ-like life. Prayer is the key to understanding all of God's truths that He has already given us. Prayer is what will impact the lives of the people around us. How is your prayer life?

ACT: Let's end this week by sitting quietly now for 10 minutes to listen to God. Listen for what truths He wants to reveal to you, what people He wants you to pray for, to serve, and to love.  Be quiet and ask Him to envelope you in His peace, godliness, and holiness.  He wants you to come to a knowledge of the truth and as you sit perfectly still, He will touch your heart.  Try to spend 10 minutes, listening, as often as you can before God.  He has anointed you with the truth already.  Now, it is important for you to be still before Him, so He can reveal it to you.  This 10 minutes in God's presence can change your life. It is an exciting adventure!
