To the broken, to the hurting, to those who know how it feels when your soul screams silently in agony while you grip your pillow tight... Dear Momma, you are not alone. 

We walk a path of brokenness, an awareness most can’t understand. Each moment you are reminded of the gripping awareness your child is gone. You are broken and no matter how many blessings come your way, you are forever aware of the void that lies in your soul, haunted by the deepest pain until you are once again reunited with your child. But in each gripping moment, let Jesus grip you tighter. 

Let Jesus be your refuge and let Him hold you tight. Let Him in every moment and every sleepless night. Call out to Him and confess your hurt and tell Him every fear...and in those moments I promise you that He will draw you near. We may not get the answers or ever understand... but trust in Him and place it all deep in your Maker’s hands. He’ll walk with you and comfort you and bottle all your tears. Some how, some way, I promise you, we will make it through the years: until glory meets grace and the day comes when you hold your child in your arms. Rise up in the name of Jesus. Stand firm and believe God’s promises over your life and your child is far greater than you know. Your child is safe, and so are you. So tonight, rest in His arms. Let Him be your peace. Live each moment from here on out by His light alone. And surely we will find comfort in broken places until He calls us home. 

Heavenly Father, hold me, Lord. Please comfort me and bring me peace. Give me wisdom and speak to me Lord, so that through this pain You receive your glory and that I am a light for You. I love You Lord, Amen.
