The Way To The Savior - A Family Easter DevotionalSample
Depend on God
Someday, when you start driving, a parent will probably say to you, “Keep your eyes on the road.” Why? Because it’s important to stay alert and know what’s ahead. Maybe you have heard a baseball coach say, “Keep your eye on the ball.” If you don’t keep your eye on the ball, you won’t be able to hit it. The Bible reminds you that God has His eyes on you. Why would God choose to keep His eyes on you? Because you are important to Him!
You can depend on God, whatever you are going through. When you hope in Him, you are aware of His attention and protection. Even when you aren’t thinking about God, He is there. That’s a promise God has made that won’t be broken.
God also promised to send a Savior to earth to give hope to everyone who believes in Him. Do you know someone who needs to know about this hope? As Easter Sunday approaches, think about someone you know who needs to hear more about the hope Jesus offers to all people.
Dear God,
Thank You for Your promises and for having Your eyes always on me. Help me to put my hope in You no matter what. Amen.
Cross Connection
Make a list of people you know who might need to hear about the hope of Jesus. Pray about your list, and make plans to invite someone to Easter services with you.

About this Plan
Amid the hustle and bustle of springtime chores and storefront bunnies, focusing your children on the true meaning of Easter can be a challenge. Bring the family together and show them the way to the Savior instead! These excerpts are taken from the forty-day devotional book, “The Way to the Savior”, by Jeff and Abbey Land.
