Put Your Hope in Grace

What’s the last thing you hoped for? Was it a good grade, good weather, or your favorite food to be cooked for dinner? Maybe you hoped your favorite team would win the championship. Did you get what you hoped for? Sometimes in life you hope for something but what you get isn’t exactly what you had hoped for. With God, things are different. When you place your hope in Him, you can know that He will deliver. He is the source of hope. 

The most important person in whom you can ever have hope is Jesus Christ. That hope is brought to you through the grace Jesus offers because He suffered and died on the cross for you and your sins. The hope you have is because of the free gift given by Jesus. If you ask, you will receive from Jesus; it’s that simple! That’s what grace is: something you can’t earn; it’s given freely.

Dear God,

Thank You for grace. I know I don’t deserve what Jesus did for me. Help me remember to put my hope in Jesus. Amen.
