Humbled.

I find it impossible to understand how, our God, our Creator - Creator of the universe, the one we rightly call King of Kings and Lord of Lords, could humble himself, not only by becoming a man but by making himself a servant to those who ought to have served him. He loved us, He healed us, He washed our feet, He came to our rescue, He died for us, and He lives for us. By taking the lowest position, he has set the bar high. Christ had every privilege - he was God. No one had the right to take away his royal title, and yet he gave it away so that we might know Him again. 

Prayer: Jesus, teach me to be like you. Help me to humble myself, to serve you and to serve others in my life today.
