Overcoming CrisisSample

When we get to verse 4, David’s tone changes a little: I walk through the darkest valley.” This time in your life might be one on a list of dark valleys, maybe this is the first valley you’ve walked through and you’re not sure how to handle it, or maybe there isn’t a reason to be in this dark valley, and yet here you still are. No matter what this valley looks like, the next thing David says is the key to overcoming it: I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.
When you are in your darkest moments, walking through this crisis and it feels like you will be overcome by the enemy, know that God has never left! Choose courage in these moments because God is your shepherd and despite the valley you’re in, you can take confidence in knowing He is there right beside you!
1) Do you feel God walking with you at this time?
2) How does this truth relate to choosing God as your shepherd?
