GO2020 | ENGAGE: April Week 3 - SHARESample

April 20—God’s Provision
Read
Matthew 28:18-20
Reflect
Jesus tells us to go. We can go with confidence because Jesus has been given “all authority” (ESV). His is the “name that is above every name” (Philippians 2:9 ESV). What are we supposed to go and do? How do you envision your role in carrying out Jesus’s command? How do you see it happening in your local church? If you don’t see it happening, what is happening instead?
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verses, Matthew 28:19-20. Spend a few minutes beginning to memorize them.

About this Plan

GO2020 is focused on mobilizing people to share the good news of Jesus with those around us who don’t know him. In this unusual season of isolated living, how can we do that? Friendship…we can pursue our neighbors through “divine” appointments as we prayer walk our neighborhoods and as we share what we have with those who have less.
