Day 34: Perfectly United

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 1 Corinthians 1:10

In today’s Scripture, God’s family at Corinth has divided into factions and is fighting over who to follow. Paul asks them, “Is Christ divided?” He makes a plea, and we make the same plea to you today: Can there be no division among us? Can we be perfectly united in mind and thought? This takes supernatural humility and intentional work. But it’s possible.

ACTION: What would perfect unity look like around race relations in your country? Dream with God. What would the family of God look like perfectly united?

PRAYER

Lord, today, we pray to be perfectly united. What’s my part in that? How can I come into unity with the family of God? I let go of all things petty and I pray for Your mind and thoughts. Please protect us and our families today, in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
