Day 35: I Am Willing
“In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength.” But you were not willing. Isaiah 30:15
Entering into rest is a choice. Unplugging from work that makes income once a week and depending on God for those resources is a choice. Quietly trusting is a choice. And it’s hard. Yet, let’s make that choice.
ACTION: How can you make these Sabbath observances for the last five weeks a part of your life going forward? How can you weekly unplug from work for income and set aside that time to commune with God, your family and community?
PRAYER
Lord, Help me. I am willing. Please help me figure out how to make this command of Sabbath rest a part of my commitment to You. Please take care of me and my loved ones, in Jesus’s Name, Amen.
