Eternal LifeSample

Eternal Life Will Never End
God is eternal; He is beyond time. He has always existed and always will. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). So, when believers are to live with Him eternally, this blessed life is not limited by time either. God’s kingdom will never end. As an angel reveals to John, “They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever” (Revelation 22:4-5).
For us humans, that’s hard to grasp. We are so used to time limits that we can hardly imagine what everlasting life must be like. Our lives are fleeting. “We bring our years to an end like a sigh” (Psalm 90:9). And even world history as a whole has a beginning and an end, as today’s text shows: “The world is passing away.” The earth was created at a certain point, and will be dissolved on the last day. But not so God’s kingdom. The abundant life that God has promised His children will never end.
How does the fact that eternal life is everlasting change your perspective on the present world?
About this Plan

When Jesus speaks about his ministry, He says that his goal is to give people abundant life. That’s the reason why He has come to this earth: “that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). What is this abundant, eternal life like? Let’s read what the Bible tells us about this topic.
