River Valley Church SOAP - Part 11Sample

Jesus taught using parables which were earthly stories with a heavenly meaning. After teaching the crowds he would explain the meaning to his disciples later. John the Baptist is beheaded and Jesus withdrew with his disciples to presumably grieve but the crowds found them. Jesus being full of compassion, ministered to them.
This week we are praying for the country of Bangladesh. Let's start by lifting the president, Abdul Hamid, up in prayer. Let's pray that he would come to know God, hear the needs of his people, and lead with wisdom and justice.
