Walk Through the Bible 365 - AprilSample

Prosperous Happy People
The writer of Psalms recognized a slippery condition when he cast his eyes upon the rich, arrogant, healthy, strong, and struggle-free society around him. He was envious and troubled until...he entered the sanctuary of God. It was in this sacred place that he realized that they will perish and this is where God is his strength, refuge, guide, counsel, and portion forever. A good reason to attend an assembly of believers where His presence is - yes?
Prayer: Lord, help me to keep my eyes off men and the wealth and riches of this world. I want my focus to be on you and the life eternal that you will give me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
