Who Is God?Sample

Jesus is the Son of God
The Son is one of the three divine Persons. He has been God from eternity and will be God forever. But there is something very special about the Son: at a certain point in time, about 2000 years ago, He also became human. He was born as a baby, grew up, and as an adult, He taught people about God's kingdom. Then, at about 33, He suffered and died for the sins of humanity. He bore the judgment of God in our place and thereby opened a way of reconciliation between God and man.
This is why we call him Jesus Christ: "Jesus" was his personal name here on earth, meaning "the one who saves". "Christ" means "anointed", "Messiah". That was the Old Testament title for the person who would come to rescue humanity. And because Jesus remains part of the triune Godhead, we also call him "Lord" or "the Son of God".
Do you know this Son of God as your personal Lord and Savior?
