"Reset My _______"Sample

Reset My Pride
When you follow Jesus, you’re going to see amazing things. You’ll hit “mountaintop moments” when you feel so close to Jesus you could almost touch Him. However, if we’re always striving to live on the mountaintop, we’re going to end up messed up.
God uses incredible moments to remind us of who He is. But after He reminds us, He calls us to follow Him into the valley.
In today’s passage, we see Jesus’ followers arguing about who’s the greatest and asking Jesus to call down fire on their enemies. It seems like all of the miracles were kind of getting to their heads!
In response, Jesus tells His followers that following Him is costly, and there’s no room for pride in His kingdom. In this world, we’re so used to pride being a defining characteristic of power, but with Jesus, He demonstrates a selfless lifestyle that puts others first.
Jesus, will you reset my pride?
