"Reset My _______"Sample

Reset My Humility
Humility is looked down upon in our culture. “Meek is weak,” some have said.
Jesus says just the opposite. He says it’s the humble who are lifted up—that’s how it’ll be in heaven, and that’s how we’re supposed to live now.
Humility means letting go of our plans and choosing to depend on Jesus. As we’ll read today, following Jesus is hard, requiring us to lay down our lives and “count the cost.”
Humility is not weakness. Humility is laying our plans down before Jesus and saying, “Your plans are better.” Even when it hurts. Even when it’s hard. When we humble ourselves, Jesus will lift us up.
