Venga Tu Reino - (Kingdom Come)

DAY 4 OF 5

Emmanuel

Names have major significance in the bible. "Emmanuel" was used in the Old Testament as a sign of hope for the people of Judah. God wanted to remind them that He had not forgotten about them and promised to deliver His people. This promise was not only fulfilled but it expanded to the New Testament. Up to that point, God was contained to the "Temple". But everything changed when we arrived in the new testament, because with it came the birth of Jesus: the birth of a new covenant.

This song is a song of adoration and praise as we serve a God who fulfills His promises. In every moment, He is honorable. Whether we’re at our best or at our worst, He remains constant and worthy to be praised. This song is to be our posture towards Him.

As you listen to this song, we pray that you would be reminded that there is a God who is standing with you in every season, every heartache, every victory. "Emmanuel" our promise. There is not a breath, nor pulse, nor space, that isn't filled with "Emmanuel". There is not a moment where we are not surrounded and supported by the Father's wrap-around presence. Be reminded today, our God will fulfill his promises. This is good news!

Our prayer today is that those who listen to this song will be reminded of "Emmanuel's" closeness. We pray that their awareness of His ever-present Spirit is heightened. And may their response to this promise result in ecstatic praise!

Prayer:

Father thank you for your everlasting presence.   Our prayer today is that those who listen to this song will be reminded of "Emmanuel's" closeness. We pray that their awareness of His ever-present Spirit is heightened. And may their response to this promise result in ecstatic praise!
