Being in the right place at the right time can seem like it’s all up to chance. Maybe something that happened when you least expected but was just the right thing at precisely the right time. Instead of ‘chance,’ could it be God’s plan at work on the Earth and in our lives?

God chose the right place and the right time for Jesus to come. Everything aligned, not by coincidence or chance, but by God’s divine plan. 

Mary and Joseph travelled from Nazareth to Bethlehem because of a census in the Roman empire. Everyone had to be counted so the rulers could make sure everyone was paying their taxes correctly.  Here in Bethlehem is where Jesus was born, just like the messages the prophets had shared. There were no rooms in Bethlehem for them to stay, so Jesus was laid in a manger. The mystery of Christmas is Jesus, God revealed. This is good news that leads us to worship Him.
