Moments for Mums: Loving When It’s Hard - Part 2Sample

If there was ever an example of how God works through all people, it was the church in Ephesus.
They were a diverse group of believers from all backgrounds, social standings, and cultures. On the face of it, they were too different to ever unite together but through Jesus Christ, they become one of the most prominent early churches.
Sound familiar? It’s funny how God draws such different people together to achieve impossible things. But that’s the way He likes to work! God gets the glory, and we learn some humble lessons in loving others when it’s really hard.
Sure, life would be much easier if everyone else was like us. Yet Jesus paid the ultimate price so we could be united with him, and he spurs us on to show that same love to others.
Question
How is God asking you to put aside your differences to love others and be united in the Kingdom of God?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to see others through your eyes of love. Help me to love others like you love them. I ask that you empower me to do this when I find it hard.
Scripture
