The eternal purpose

How are we to manifest the eternal purpose of the Father? In other words, how are we to manifest what God wanted to do with us before the world existed? God did not create us to see what might happen. When He created us, He had an eternal purpose.

Let us define the eternal purpose: the loving will of the Father to make Himself known through the Son, imparting Himself into the church, since we are all God’s children, with the objective that Christ be all in all.

God’s eternal purpose is born out of His will. In love, God said, “This is what I want to do. Through My love, I want to manifest My eternal purpose.” He wants to make Himself known through his Son, Christ. Jesus said, in John 14:9–11, that “If you have seen Me, you have seen My Father. The works of My Father are what I have come to do.” 

There is a way through which we can carry out the purpose, and that is through the church. The result is for the Son to be all in all and all through all. He must be all in your life. He must be all in everything you do in your life. If we understand this, the main activity of the church should be to manifest the Son until He is all in all. The activity of every child of God is to manifest the life of Christ. We must each do this in our environment, where we develop until Christ is all in all.

We have an exciting function as the church: the eternal purpose of God. Before you and I were born, God said: “I want to create men and women to be on Earth. They will make Christ known. They will manifest Christ and be all in all.”
