The Wisdom of Mary

“Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”

These were the words said to Mary by the angel of the Lord, and I repeat them to you today. Because of Jesus, His Holy Spirit doesn’t just come upon us but lives within us, speaking to us. He is ready to do life with us every day in every way. 

“The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; for that reason the Holy child shall be called the son of God.”  

This is how Jesus, THE son of God, was physically birthed into this earth. This is also how we, the sons of God, are birthed in the spirit. Through the Holy Spirit of God, the power of the Most High moving in on the inside of us, giving life to our spirits that were dead in sin. Thank you, Jesus! 

As the angel of the Lord continues to speak to Mary, He says these words, “for with God nothing shall be impossible,” and then Mary replied, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; May it be done to me according to your word.”

To be so quick to believe and agree with God’s Word shows superior wisdom and submission! We can learn a lot from Mary partnering with God and His plans birthed in our lives! She listened to the Word of the Lord; she agreed, believed, conceived, and then in the fullness of its time, received the physical manifestation of the Word made flesh.  

John 1:1-3 - “... Blessed is she who believed and confidently trusted that there would be a Fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.” 

This is how faith looks.

Father God, 

Thank you for the opportunity and ability to partner with you. I commit to not just hearing your word but boldly agreeing, believing, conceiving its truth on the inside of my mind and heart so that It can come to pass in my life.
