DAY 20: Giving God Priority

You now have everything you need to recognize God’s love and His desire for you to BE all you can BE. You built bridges over the mental and environmental obstacles that might have prevented you from moving forward toward your purpose. You understand God created you because He loved you and decided you needed to be on this planet to fulfill His purpose.

There’s just one more step I want to challenge you to make. I want you to make a firm commitment to continue to seek a greater connection with God by reading scripture and talking to Him daily.

Through a direct connection to God, you will create an abundant mindset and lifestyle that will reveal His greatness to you and the rest of the world through you. You will create an untouchable peace that will support you in times of need and lift you in times of joy when you endeavor to establish deeper intimacy with the Father. You will become a beacon of hope and light to those starting on the journey behind you.

No matter your success or failures toward your pursuit of purpose, you can never forget God is your portion. You will have days you are up and some down, but know this as He is your lot, then you are building a strong foundation on a relationship with Him first and not just doing purpose. God loves you so much He does not want you to seek purpose without Him in it.

Challenge yourself: Give your relationship with God priority status in your life. Pick a time and a place where you will not be disturbed to study and pray – even 5 minutes a day is enough if it’s all you have.
