DAY 21 OF 21

DAY 21: Pursue Your Destiny

Congratulations! You’ve made it to the end of this study and the beginning of your journey into your destiny.

A primary key to pursuing your destiny is to discover the Destiny-Giver. So who is the Destiny-Giver? God Himself.

So, God Himself purposed you to be here and be a part of His amazing kingdom plan. As you pursue destiny, you are working toward knowing Him more and loving Him more, which will translate to loving yourself more and loving others more. The love you will gain from the Father will help you take risks to love others by using your gifts. God thought you in His mind as He sent Jesus to make a way so you could be a part of His plan. As you read earlier in the study, and I want to emphasize in this last chapter, that “You were known by God before the foundation of the world and are still known by Him right now!” (Psalm 139) When King David discovered this truth, He could accomplish His destiny. He had many ups, downs, fights, victories, defeats, laughs, and tears along the way, and you will too. But the best news is you are getting to know God every day in the process.

Takeaway: You were known by God before the foundation of the world and are still known by Him right now. Pursue Him first as you are moving toward purpose.

Challenge yourself: Each time you begin to take leaps of faith for your destiny, you will have an obstacle or a blocker to come and stop it. Challenge yourself to get over your obstacles by focusing on God’s love and purpose for you, and He created you for purpose because you were created to know Him first.

  • What can you tell yourself when you hit a blockade to purpose about God and your relationship with Him that will encourage you to keep you moving forward?
  • What is your favorite scripture from this study to help you stay motivated for destiny?
  • What word of encouragement can you give yourself to keep on keeping on as you move forward on this journey?

Questions to consider:

  • What next topic would interest you that can help you move forward now that you know you were created for a purpose?
  • What is God speaking to your heart about your next devotional so you can know Him more?

Congratulations!

God created you to serve a purpose, and you play a vital role in His great plan. Jesus loved you so much He made the way with His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. You cannot fail if you trust in Him to provide the resources, direction, and support you need to accomplish His purpose. He has done so now in this plan and will never stop doing so!

If you went through this whole reading plan but still feel as though God does not love you or that He is distant, I want to invite you now to say a prayer with me. “Lord Jesus, I want to know you more. Please forgive me for my mistakes and sins and where I have fallen short. I want to know you and your love more, and I want to live my life for you. Please come into my heart and touch me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus, for your giving your life for me.”

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, it was a prayer of salvation, and you are saved according to Romans 10:9-10. If you have been saved and just rededicated your life and living a life of purpose to God, you are now prepared with a strong foundation to move ahead in God’s call on your life.

Please reach out to me and let me know you agreed in prayer, and I will send you a complimentary resource. I hope you have found a new sense of intimacy with God through this reading plan, and you will continue to pursue your destiny with passion and purpose.
