Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "Abundant Joy"Sample

Happy Valentine’s Day!
On this special day, people usually give or receive chocolates, flowers, presents, or wishes that express love. Those things are good and even necessary. But let’s not show our love to others around us just today, but let’s show it every day.
There are 5 ways to show our love to others:
1. By saying encouraging and appreciative words.
2. By giving gifts.
3. By giving a hug, a kiss, or a simple smile.
4. By doing activities together.
5. By doing acts of service, such as making food, helping to get stuff, giving massages, etc.
Whatever and however we do it, we need to do it to everyone around us, starting from our own family. Like Colossians 3:4 says, let love be the foundation that binds us all together in perfect unity.
Devotion for Parents
Our spouse and our children have their own love languages. Do you know what they are and have you shown them love using their love language?
Devotion for Kids
Let us learn to show love wherever we are. We can start with our own family by doing simple things. Then make it a habit.
Family Devotion Time
Have a discussion about love languages with your family. From the 5 options, which one speaks the most to each person. Then, start practicing showing love using the love language that applies to each person.
