Sharing the GospelSample

Why is it important that we share this Gospel message? There’s an urgency to it. Throughout God’s Word, we see an urgency about the importance of salvation, and we don’t know the day or time when Jesus will come back. Nothing in this world will last forever. All that we work for will soon be gone; that is the reality of life. Scripture shows us in John 9:4 that “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man work.” This challenges us to have this feeling of urgency.

So we press forward with sharing the Gospel because it has an eternal impact. The question becomes, when will you start doing the work of the Lord and sharing the Gospel message? What are you waiting for? What is hindering you?

While we still have air in our lungs and walk this earth, we should be obedient to the Lord and the doing of His work. Why is that? Because there’s no guarantee of tomorrow. Think about five people in your life who do not know Christ. Who would share the Gospel message with them if you were to die tomorrow? What if they were to die tomorrow? I don’t say that to scare you, but I say that so that you can see the urgency and the importance of sharing the Gospel message. A seed can be planted through you.

We must feel the urgency in sharing the Gospel message because life is short. The night will come when no man can work.
