The NBA and WNBA are full of so many talented players. You can't help but wonder what it's like being on a team with these players. It'd probably be pretty nerve-wracking to play basketball with a legend like Sue Bird or Lebron James. Let's imagine for a second that you are sitting in the locker room, getting ready for your first game, and a famous player sits down right next to you. You might begin to wonder, Why would they want me on their team? What could I possibly bring to the table?
Often, we ask these questions when Jesus invites us to participate in his mission and be on his team. God is inviting us to be part of a story bigger than ourselves, a story that connects us to the world with our Creator. As wild as it sounds, God chose us to help share and live out the love and news of Jesus.
How does it feel to know that Jesus doesn't want to complete his mission without you?

About this Plan

We all want to make a difference! We dream of making an impact and making the world a better place. The people who’ve made the biggest differences did it with other people. Jesus gave his followers a mission that would change the world — not as individuals, but as a group on a mission together. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll explore this mission.
