Day 6: Destiny

Destiny is life's inner purpose, preordained from the beginning and positioned for the future. The path to our destiny is one of the most critical and most challenging, but the plans and promises it holds are far worth the journey. If there's one thing a person can hold onto, it's that God promises the end of a thing shall be far greater than its beginning.

Destiny is more than a physical location; it is where one lands and settles internally. Some people go their whole life obtaining things, reaching milestones, and accomplishing many achievements but never achieving what I believe is the sweetest place on earth—Divine Destiny. It's because society has confused and overshadowed the original and perfect plans God ordained from the beginning. And for those who never quite understand or accomplish the previous five steps, reaching and obtaining true and pure destiny is hard.

True destiny is obtained when one has reached complete, internal wholeness, lacking nothing physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. It's not measured based on quantity, as much as quality. It's an inner peace that gives the soul great rest and satisfaction. From the beginning, God already had the end in mind and in full motion. And He created destiny to give a preview of what eternity with Him would feel like.
