LOVE I LEAVE

Jesus’ directions for his followers are simple: Love others as he loves us. We only get to walk in this world for a short time, so we need to make the most of it and give our all for the Lord by loving those around us. Loving others means to love deeply and clothe ourselves in the fruits of the Spirit. When our actions show compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, God’s love is shown clearly to the world. It may feel like life is long, especially on hard days when nothing goes your way, but in reality, we only have a limited time to make a difference.

When our time is through and we leave this world, what will you be remembered for? Will it be the love that you showed others? Make today the day that you reach out to someone in need, apologize to someone you’ve hurt, tell someone that they matter, or share the Good News of the gospel with a friend. Let it be LOVE that you leave in the places you go today.
