We can have hope in God even when we don’t know all the answers. There’s sometimes a gap between when God has promised something and when it actually happens. A time between when you pray for something and when God brings an answer. In the gap don’t give up hope! Don’t give up joy!

Imagine your dad said, “Next week we are going to go to the beach, I promise.” You could spend the whole week waiting, hoping with a bad attitude, arms crossed, pouting because you’re not at the beach yet. What a terrible week you’ve spent waiting. Or you could wait with peace, patience, JOY and hope. Be joyful as you put your hope in God. Have peace as you trust in Him. God’s hope brings you joy and peace.
