Romans: A 21-Day Musical DevotionalSample

No Excuse
Foundational to the gospel is the fact that every human is a sinner and is in need of a Savior. Paul writes that all people know that God exists, even those who have never heard of Jesus or read a Bible, because creation itself testifies that there is a God. You experience the existence of God when you breathe the air or see a sunset.
This knowledge is not enough to save you, only to condemn you, for such knowledge ought to be followed up with perfect obedience. Even the Jews, who were entrusted with the law and promises of God, are without excuse. Indeed, as Paul stresses in chapter 3, “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands, no one seeks for God (vv. 10-11).”
