Back to School: Encouragement and Wisdom for the New School YearSample

Don't Fear
As parents, we know that the start of the school year can stir up a mix of emotions–not just for us, but also for our children. Many kids approach this new chapter with fears and anxieties: worries about making friends, getting good grades, finding their way around, and even the fear of being bullied.
But in the midst of it all, Isaiah 41:10 offers a reassuring promise. This verse reminds us that even in these moments of fear, God is with us. He speaks directly to those feelings of anxiety, saying, "Do not fear, for I am with you." He assures us that he is our God, and he's here to strengthen us and help us through the challenges that come our way.
We wish we could shield our kids from every challenge, but God assures us that his presence is a constant companion in their journey. As parents, we can share this promise with our children, reminding them that God's presence is an unfailing source of comfort.
No matter what the school year brings—whether it's challenges in the classroom, lunchroom worries, or social interactions, God's righteous right hand is there to support us.
