Day 25: Finding Joy in the Storm
Life’s storms can be relentless, overwhelming us with difficulties, pain, and uncertainty. In these turbulent times, finding Joy may seem elusive, yet the Scriptures assure us that there is a Joy that transcends our circumstances—a Joy that dawns after the darkest night (Psalm 30:5).
Consider your own storms, those challenges, and trials that have shaken your life. Reflect on how they have tested your faith and resilience. In the midst of adversity, it’s natural to weep, to feel the weight of sorrow. But remember that just as the night turns to day, there is a promise of finding Joy even in the storm.
Take a moment to list three blessings in your life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant they may be. Reflect on these blessings and how they bring Joy to your heart.
Write down the storms or challenges you’re currently facing or have faced recently. Consider how they have shaped your character and faith. Identify any lessons you’ve learned through these trials.
Extend a hand of support or encouragement to someone you know who is going through a difficult time. It could be a simple message, a prayer, or a listening ear.
