The Nine Beatitudes of JesusSample
Day 3 - Blessed are those who mourn
Jesus’ second beatitude goes to the mourners – that is, those who grieve at heart, not only for losing loved ones but also for going through hard times in life, seeing that things aren’t moving on as well as they want. He said, “They shall be comforted.”
Whatever Jesus says is final. That means heaven will always be responsible for comforting those who mourn.
Maybe you lost a loved one or experienced an unfortunate incident in your life a few days, weeks, months, or even years ago. Jesus says you shall be comforted.
Or perhaps you’re a visionary person who works purposefully to fulfill your divine mandate in God, yet there aren’t enough resources to help you do what you want to do. Of course, you’ll feel limited in your productivity because of lack. But Jesus says you shall be comforted. That means, to you, He will supply every resource you need to fulfill every divine mandate upon your life.
Do not solely depend on people to comfort you. Root yourself in God so deeply that His anchorage in your soul will be very strong within you. That is how to walk in life without any strand of worry in your mind.
May the Lord of peace be with you.
