Caring With OthersSample

Step Out in Faith
Have you ever seen mustard seeds? They are incredibly small. Yet Jesus told His disciples that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains and trees (Matt. 17:14-20; Luke 17:5-6). That is the power of faith. We are connected to God's infinite resources when we trust in Him. When we do this together with others, the results are even more dynamic. Francesca Battistelli describes how a child motivated her to expand her own faith and its ultimate impact for others.

Stories like these should inspire us. Consider all the 11-year-old girl accomplished to gather people around a cause in just three years! Jesus asks us to put aside our pride or feelings of inadequacy and ask Him for more than we imagine possible - not only for ourselves, but for others. Have you let pride, fear or skepticism discourage you from using your God-given talents with others? Have you missed out on opportunities He places in your path? Dare to take small steps of faith. Join with others to make the journey a little easier. And with God’s endless supply of help, you all will do much more to care for others.
