Caring With OthersSample
Join Together in Caring
Caring about people and developing good relationships is not easy. And it does not come naturally for most people. But no matter where Jesus went, He showed love and compassion for everyone He met. It started with Him looking and seeing what was happening all around Him. He saw the needs of the people. In the same way, we can become people of caring compassion and help others do the same. As we look around and see needs, we can point out those needs to others. Dallas Anderson shares a story about how one man saw a need and brought his friends together to meet it.

God’s love and care should compel us to show that same care to others. It is easy to come up with excuses - I am too busy, too shy, or do not have any skills. This is why it’s a great idea to join with others. Together, God will cultivate a heart of caring in us. All we need to do is begin. Why not look around where God has placed you? See the needs in your workplace, neighborhood, or school. Then ask your coworker, neighbor, or schoolmate to join you in trying to meet that need. It could be something as large as building a wheelchair ramp or as small as giving words of encouragement. Every gesture makes a difference!

About this Plan
Individually we can only do so much to care for others. Connecting with other like-minded individuals will accomplish more. If everyone plays even a small role, the combined total makes a big difference . Each of these devotionals contain a short audio message ( 1-2 minutes ). The guests share ideas on how you can seek out others to join you and how together you can make a difference in others’ lives.
