RoundaboutSample

Something that we see in our world is that it is constantly changing. Political figures, the risk of war, climate change, or your favorite athlete being traded—it feels like change is constant. On a personal level, we experience change all the time in things like our education status, friendships, breakups, new jobs, and so on. It is evident that the world changes constantly, but what about Jesus? The writer of Hebrews reminds us that Jesus is our constant in this life. Something that we see in the life of Jesus is His unchanging nature. He always loves us, always knows what is best for us, always wants a relationship with every person in creation, and so much more. Now, what does this mean for us? We can have joy because we have a safe place in Jesus. That will never change!
Today, think about all the changes you can notice from the last year. Think of changes in your life or the changes that you’ve observed that have happened in the world around you. Then, think about the things that haven’t changed. What does it mean to you that Jesus doesn’t change? Take time to pray, and thank Jesus for remaining the same, always.
