Wouldn’t it be great if we could snap our fingers and stop worrying? I would love to have that ability! Unfortunately, life doesn’t work like that. We all have legitimate things going on in our lives right now that we can be worrying about. But have you ever stopped and thought about what worrying does? It doesn’t accomplish much. God knows we are prone to worry and God wants more for us. We worry because we don’t know the future, and we worry because we think we can control the future. Doesn’t it make more sense to trust our future to the one who holds your future?
Today, practice Philippians 4:6-7. Try telling God what you need and thank him for all he has done.
