Be HumbleSample

Have you ever had to ask someone for help? Maybe it was help with homework, help carrying your stuff inside, or help during a hard time in your life. Sometimes, if we’re honest, we’d admit it can be hard to ask for help. It’s awkward, embarrassing, and vulnerable. But when we try to do things on our own? Well, that’s even more difficult! While that’s true for many reasons, the primary one is that this isn’t how God created life to be.
God created us to help each other. And more than that, God knows we need God’s help in this life. That’s why when we ask for it, God promises to always answer. When we find the humility to go to God for help, we’ll be met with more than we even know. Not just help, but rescue, honor, and confidence, too!
Today, tell God what you need. Take time to write it down in a letter to God and save it for the future. When you look at it again later, notice how God helped you in those specific areas simply because you asked.
