Pretty LiesSample

Lie: You Are Beyond Redemption
Guilt and conviction are designed to point out what we’ve done and lead us to repentance. Shame is designed by the enemy to try and speak to who we are, leading us to hopelessness.
One of the biggest lies shame tries to tell us is that we are beyond redemption. Have you ever messed up and heard a voice in your head saying, “You’re too far gone, there’s no way God could love you anymore”? Truth is that’s just not true.
Your sin is not more powerful than God. Do we really think we could somehow be the one person God isn’t strong enough to save? Our forgiveness isn’t based on us. Praise the Lord, it’s based on Jesus! He was enough and His Salvation is enough to Redeem and Restore every sinner.
If the criminal crucified next to Jesus wasn’t beyond saving, neither are you. If the prodigal son wasn’t beyond redemption, neither are you. When Jesus said His Grace was enough, He was including you.
