5 Keys to Effective EvangelizingSample

5 Keys to Effective Evangelizing

DAY 1 OF 5

Key 1: Pray specifically

Evangelization, it is an honor that Jesus has entrusted us with this “task”. That He sends us into the world to tell people about Him. At the same time, it’s also necessary.

The Bible says:

“For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How, then, shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:13-15)

How can people hear about Jesus if no one tells them about Him? That’s why it’s important that we bring the Word. To everyone, because when it is preached to all, the end will come (Matthew 24:14). Not everyone has to stand in the gap as an evangelist, but everyone is called to share the good news.

And this plan will help you with that through 5 keys, so that you can do it in an effective and loving way. Where do you start if you want to evangelize?

What is the foundation?

Praying specifically is the starting point.

Before you even put anything into practice, it is necessary to get into prayer. In order to do that, you don’t have to mumble endlessly long petitions, hoping that He hears us. Or praying until there is a shifting in the heavenly realms.

What you should do is pray specifically for the goal that we wish to reach. God promises in His Word that when you believe that you will receive from Him in prayer, you will have that what you have believed, see Mark 11:24.

It’s evident that Mark 11:24 is about all things that are provided in grace and are in the will of the Father. It is absolutely the will of the Father that you go out to make a difference and reach people with the Gospel. So, desiring that you may be successful in this is a pure prayer.

Pray for your honest desire, specific goals, and what you need. Do that in faith and thanksgiving. In this way, you hit the road prepared, strengthened in prayer, and armed with His Spirit.
