Prayers for My HusbandSample

This devotional will help you pray specific and intentional prayers for your husband. Mark and Jill Savage encourage you to let God be the foundation of your marriage as you bring all your worries and joys to Him.
We Are So Different
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Talk to God
Lord, I come to you with a humble heart, acknowledging the differences between my husband and me. His world often seems foreign to me, and I struggle to understand his unique needs, desires, and preferences. I pray for a heart filled with curiosity and a desire to truly understand my husband and build a deeper connection with him. May I never stop exploring his thoughts, experiences, and perspectives. Give me the grace to set aside my own preferences and focus on his needs. When it becomes overwhelming to step into his world, remind me that through You, I can accomplish all things and that You will provide me with the wisdom and strength I need. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Think
Think of ways your husband is different than you are. Think about the good those things bring to your life and your marriage. Thank God for each of those ways your husband is different and be grateful for the balance and blessing it brings to your relationship.
Take Action
Pick one of the ways he’s different than you and let him know how much you appreciate that difference and what it brings to your life and relationship.
