Stick TogetherSample

At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
USE YOUR GIFTS
God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!
One of the ways we show that good friends are worth fighting for is by using our own gifts and resources to make their lives better. For this challenge, think of a friend struggling with something you can help with. They could be struggling with a school subject they usually excel in, need a ride to work, or are looking for someone to help them complete an overwhelming task. Talk to God about ways you can use your personality or skills to help a friend who differs from you in those ways.

About this Plan

Think about your favorite adventure stories where friends go on epic journeys, face challenges, and stick together through it all. Those stories make you wonder: Do I have friends like that? Am I that kind of friend? We all want solid friendships with people who stick with us no matter what life brings, and the Bible gives us wisdom about how to build those relationships. For the next 28 days, we’ll explore what God has to say about how we can have—and be—good friends. We'll see how choosing wise friends will help us navigate any adventure we face.
