Seven Days of Revelation

DAY 3 OF 7

Have you ever looked at the brokenness around you and wondered, "Doesn't anyone care enough to do something?" Maybe it's injustice you see in the world, pain in your family, or struggles in your own heart. You find yourself asking, "Is anyone strong enough, good enough, caring enough to make this right?"

This is exactly where John found himself in his vision. God held a scroll—the secret blueprint to deal with evil and redeem the world—but no one was worthy to open it. John began to weep. His heart broke because it seemed like no one cared enough or was powerful enough to fix what was broken.

Then came the most beautiful twist in all of Scripture.

A lion was announced—but a Lamb appeared. Not just any lamb, but a Lamb who was slain. Jesus. The one who cared so much that He conquered not with military might or political power, but through sacrifice. His love was so deep that He purchased people from every tribe, language, and nation with His own blood.

Someone did care enough. Someone was strong enough. Someone was good enough. And His name is Jesus.

The throne room exploded in worship because finally, the question was answered: "Who cares enough to make things right?" The Lamb who was slain. The one who loved you enough to die for you. Let that sink in as you read today!

Reflection Question: What broken situation in your life makes you wonder if anyone truly cares? How does knowing Jesus sacrificed everything for you speak to that doubt?

Call to Action: Think of someone in your life who is hurting. Show them the same sacrificial love Jesus showed you—reach out, listen, or simply be present.

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for caring enough to sacrifice everything for me. When I doubt whether anyone truly cares about my struggles, remind me of Your cross. Help me show that same love to others. Amen.
