Seven Days of Revelation

DAY 6 OF 7

Does it ever make you angry that some people seem to get away with everything? You see injustice in the world, cruelty that goes unpunished, and suffering that seems meaningless. You find yourself asking, "If God is good, why doesn't He just stop all the evil in the world?"

Revelation 20 answers that question with stunning clarity: one day, He will. And when He does, it will be final.

The dragon gets one last shot at rebellion. He rallies the nations, surrounds God's people, and prepares for the ultimate showdown. But it's the shortest battle in history. Fire from heaven. God says, "That's enough." And it is. Evil isn't just defeated—it's destroyed forever.

Then comes the moment every victim of injustice has longed for: perfect judgment. All humanity stands before God. The books are opened. Everything hidden is brought into the light. No crime goes unpunished. No injustice is overlooked. No evil deed is forgotten.

But there's another book—the Book of Life—and if you belong to Jesus, your name is written there. Not because you're perfect, but because the Lamb wrote it with His blood. This isn't a day to dread for those who know Jesus—it's a day to long for. A day when justice is finally done and everything wrong is made right forever.

Your pain has been seen. Your injustice will be answered. Your Jesus has the final word.

Reflection Question: What injustice in your life or world makes you long for God's perfect justice? How does knowing evil has an expiration date change how you respond to it today?

Call to Action: Instead of seeking revenge for a wrong done to you, choose to forgive today, knowing that God will handle perfect justice in His time.

Prayer: God, sometimes I'm angry that evil seems to win. Thank You that You see every injustice and will make everything right. Help me trust Your timing and forgive as You've forgiven me. Amen.
