Leading With a WhisperSample

Saying Yes When You Feel Unqualified
When I first stepped out in obedience to God's call, I didn’t feel prepared. I battled insecurity, doubt, and the voice in my head saying, 'You’re not enough.' But over time, I came to know this truth: God’s power truly is made perfect in our weakness.
Friend, saying yes to God isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being willing. Your limitations are not a liability in His kingdom. They’re often the very place where His glory shows up strongest. In my journey, I learned that God isn’t looking for the most impressive résumé—He’s looking for a heart that is surrendered.
Today, I invite you to reflect with me. Where has fear or insecurity held you back from saying yes? Would you trust that God’s presence will meet you right where you are? You’re not alone in your call. The whisper of His Spirit is enough to sustain you.
Discussion Questions:
- Where in your life do you feel unqualified to lead?
- How might God be inviting you to say yes in faith anyway?
- What would change if you truly believed His strength is made perfect in your weakness?
Prayer:
Jesus, I give You every place where I feel small or unworthy. I invite Your strength into my weakness. Help me say yes to Your call—right where I am.
