Proverbs Chapter 9

Welcome back to the Daily Proverbs with Daniah! In today’s proverb, Daniah continues to explore the personification of Wisdom and how important it is to pursue. With extra Wisdom, we can discover God’s time signature and the blessings we can receive when we live within His structure.

Wisdom has built her house. She has carved out her seven pillars. She has slaughtered her meat, she has mixed her wine; she has also set her table. She has sent out her servant girls. She calls from the city’s heights: “Whoever is naïve, turn in here!” To those who lack understanding, she says: “Come, eat my bread and drink the wine I have mixed. Abandon your foolish ways and live! Walk in the way of understanding.”
