Spiritual Maturity
Think back to when you were 5 or 6 years old. How different are the things you like now compared to then? As we get older, our bodies and minds develop. We grow up. Our relationship with Jesus should grow over time too. This process is called spiritual maturity. And here’s the great news: spiritual maturity does not come from “trying harder.” Yes, it takes effort, but real growth comes from God’s grace: the undeserved mercy and favor He shows us. We can't do it on our own. Let go of any pressure you’re feeling to be perfect. Just be His.
Reflection:
How have you experienced God’s grace in your life?
Prayer:
“God, the only way I can be saved is by Your grace. I can try as hard as I can to do what is right, but without You, my “best” will never be enough. Please help me to depend on You in every decision I make. And help me remember that no matter how far I fall, You will always be there to catch me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
