Day 3: MIND, BODY + SPIRIT

We are all made by God with a mind, body + spirit. Even though we subconsciously realize these three parts of us are interconnected, we can live and function as though they aren’t.

Let me explain. Sometimes we feel "off" in one way or another and we’ll try to snap out of it by focusing singularly on one aspect. It could be starting a routine at the gym, staying hydrated, or eating a well balanced diet. While both of those things are really good for us and we should pursue them; we really need a holistic approach to regulate and sustain our systems so we can consistently process our emotions in a healthy manner.

In other words, you may be getting physically healthy, but how often are you hydrating or feeding your spirit in worship or through prayer?

Have you been renewing your mind through the Word of God or allowing your thoughts to be shaped through socials, music and friends? Do you evaluate and eliminate harmful influences to keep your mind healthy?

Navigating "all the feels" that we face in a healthy way won’t happen by accident. It takes a willingness to pursue holistic healthiness. Which area of your life needs more time and intentionality to become healthy mind body + spirit?
